Lucy Ellen Smith is a fine artist, specializing in portraits, the figure, and still life paintings. Graduating from college with a degree in art, Lucy has continued to paint and study, striving to incorporate classic drawing and painting skills into her own style of work. She has exhibited throughout the Midwest and New England, and her work has won awards at numerous juried shows. She is now teaching classic drawing skills as well as portrait and the figure several times throughout the year. Lucy enjoys the beauty and lifestyle of Maine, and it's supportive network of artists and cultural activity.
